Ashley was born and raised in Severn, MD. A graduate of the Medix School Dental Assisting Program in Towson MD, she spent twenty years as a dental assistant and is now moving to the front office. Ashley is passionate about providing care to those in need. One of her favorite parts about being in the dental field, is how you can change people’s lives and help them to feel better about themselves. She loves getting to know all of the patients and learning about their lives.
She loves living in Maryland, especially all the seafood it has to offer. Ashley is the mother of a teenaged daughter. Together, they have a border collie/cattle dog mix named Xena, and three cats named Ollie, Annie, and Ziggy.
Krystyna Beier, Dental Hygienist
Kristyna recently had a baby and is taking time off, but will be back to the office in the near future. Kristyna was born and raised in Arnold and graduated from Broadneck High School. She has worked with Dr. Esposito since graduating from The University of Maryland Dental Hygiene program in 2011. Her expertise is in identifying the needs of her patients and prioritizing their care.
After marrying a Naval Academy grad, Kristyna left the area and continued practicing dental hygiene in South Carolina and Hawaii. In addition, she has volunteered with dental missions in Cambodia and Nepal. Kristyna is happy to finally be back in the area, raising her family, boating regularly, and enjoying the great crab cakes!
Williams Rodriguez, Dental Hygienist
Williams Rodriguez is originally from the Dominican Republic and has lived in the USA since 2003. He has a bachelor’s in French from the University of Southern Maine and an associate’s in dental hygiene from the University of Maine at Augusta. He has been working in dentistry for ten years. He loves treating all kinds of patients and has special experience in pediatrics and periodontal therapy.
Williams says: “I grew up without dental care and saw my family suffering from dental pain. When volunteer dentists and dental hygienists from the USA came to my rural town, I worked as an interpreter for them. Watching them work sparked my desire to pursue a dentistry career. That group of medical professionals helped sponsor my education in the USA.”
Williams loves seeing patients before and after he performs periodontal therapy, both because of the changes in the patient’s gum tissue and their outlook on their oral health. He feels that seeing the patient happy with their progress makes it all worth it.
Williams and his wife, Rachel, have been married for seven years. They have a 2-year-old son named Joaquin. In Williams’ spare time, he enjoys fishing, exercising, gardening, and landscaping. He says, “I love the diversity of Maryland, from the peaceful countryside of the Eastern Shore to the bustle of Arnold.”
Katie Hartge, Dental Hygienist
Katie is from a small town in the southern part of Anne Arundel county called Galesville. Apart from leaving for college, Katie has lived in that area all her life and has deep family roots that extend back into multiple generations. She obtained a bachelor’s degree from York College of Pennsylvania in Recreation Therapy prior to earning her associate’s degree in dental hygiene at Fortis college.
Katie likes to connect with her patients and help them try to feel as comfortable as possible during their dental visit. She feels that helping patients understand “the why” behind oral health is most the most important part in forming healthy oral hygiene habits. “If we can understand why something is happening, we can make the right steps to stay in a state of prevention, or treat the condition effectively.” Katie also loves to educate her patients on how diet and systemic diseases affect their oral health. She’s had direct experience with this, as well as members of her family that suffered from medical conditions which put them more at risk for dental disease, resulting in avoidable dental treatment had they had the knowledge of such risk. This is where Katie likes to bridge this gap and help people feel they have more control over their oral health. Katie helps her patients build a solid home hygiene routine that works best for them!
When she’s not at work, Katie and her boyfriend, Bryan, enjoy staying active in the gym and compete in bodybuilding competitions! They also enjoy playing with their 4-year old Doberman, Lady, and traveling in the U.S. Their favorite place to visit every year is Destin, FL! Katie also loves to spend time with her family. She especially enjoys when she can spend time with her dad fishing and crabbing!

Laurie worked in medical billing and came to realize how much she enjoyed the science of healthcare. She began working as a dental assistant to develop her clinical skills and knowledge. She particularly enjoys lab work.
One of the most satisfying parts of Laurie’s job is assisting Dr. Esposito with occlusal analysis. She spends an hour and a half with the patient during this procedure. She says, “It’s incredibly satisfying and rewarding to work with these patients with big treatment plans and to witness the changes in their confidence and oral health.”
Laurie is married to her husband, Adam, and she has three sons: Matt, Ryan, and Chris. The family also has two cats. In Laurie’s spare time, she enjoys reading, hiking, and spending time with her family.
