Meet Dr. Adam Groyer

Dr. Adam Groyer, a native of South Africa, moved to the United States at the age of seven. He grew up in San Diego before attending the University of Arizona, where he earned a degree in Molecular Biology and graduated Magna Cum Laude. Dr. Groyer went on to complete his dental doctorate at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, where he mastered his skills in comprehensive treatment planning with a patient-first approach.

After graduation, Dr. Groyer served as a U.S. Navy Dentist for five years, achieving the rank of Lieutenant. He spent two years aboard the USS George H.W. Bush Aircraft Carrier. While he did not deploy, he spent over 130 days at sea, training medical support teams while continuing to practice general dentistry. He concluded his Navy career at the Washington Navy Yard Clinic in D.C., where he served a diverse range of patients from junior marines to admirals and members of Congress.

For the past few years, Dr. Groyer has been practicing in the Maryland area before joining our practice at Chesapeake Dental Arts. He prides himself on being approachable and passionate about educating his patients on their oral health, always striving to help them achieve their dream smiles. In his free time, Dr. Groyer is planning his upcoming wedding after recently getting engaged to his fiancée Hannah. He is also an avid Eagles fan and loves to cook but he never forgets to brush twice a day to keep other dentists at bay.
