CleaningsIt is important to have professional cleanings regularly. For most patients every 6 months is adequate but for others every 3-4 months may be more appropriate. During your appointment we will remove all plaque and calculus and polish out light stains. You will receive an oral cancer screening and an evaluation for gum disease, often with gum probing. X-rays will be taken and all your current dental work will be evaluated. We will also provide oral hygiene instruction to help you with your care at home.
